Two new Trainee Assessors join the FCS-live team to support clients to achieve fire safety ambitions

News FCS Team

FCS-live are pleased to welcome two new Trainee Assessors to the team – Matt Smith and James Buckley.

As an important stage of FCS-live’s growth plans, the consultancy has identified the need to internally develop assessors due to the industry’s skill shortages. A robust training plan based around the Fire Sector Federations National Framework for Fire Risk Assessor Competency provides comprehensive training to provide Matt, James and many more new, trainee Assessors with the tools necessary to develop their careers as Fire Risk Assessors.

Our assessors will progress through the BAFE FireQual tiered FRA courses for low, medium and high risk premises delivered at the fire service college at Morton-in-the-Marsh.

As they develop, application to nationally recognised fire risk assessor registers will provide evidence of their attained competency.

Throughout their training, Matt and James will be fully supported by our experienced technical team members who will continually monitor their development and competency to ensure that they work within their level of skill and capability to grow and thrive.

The recruitment of Matt and James marks the start of an exciting step for FCS-Live who plan to recruit more, new Trainee Assessors to support the consultancies vision to make fire safety more than just compliance.
